Chromium for Diabetes and Weight Loss
Is chromium the miracle mineral?
Diabetes is becoming an epidemic in the US. Improved and earlier detection may account for some of this, and our diets are not the best. However, some factors contributing to rampant diabetic diagnosis may come from what we are NOT eating, as well as what we are eating.
Many studies and ancedotal evidence, suggests that an adequate chromium intake will reduce blood sugar, and a craving for sweets. Many atheletes swear that it helps them metabolize food better, and provides more energy. Non atheletes who are concerned about weight gain and fatigue are finding that chromium can be a safe and effective aid! Apparently we don’t get adequate amounts of chromium in our diets, and some percentage of people can be affected by that.
