Chromium for Diabetes and Weight Loss
Is chromium the miracle mineral?
Diabetes is becoming an epidemic in the US. Improved and earlier detection may account for some of this, and our diets are not the best. However, some factors contributing to rampant diabetic diagnosis may come from what we are NOT eating, as well as what we are eating.
Many studies and ancedotal evidence, suggests that an adequate chromium intake will reduce blood sugar, and a craving for sweets. Many atheletes swear that it helps them metabolize food better, and provides more energy. Non atheletes who are concerned about weight gain and fatigue are finding that chromium can be a safe and effective aid! Apparently we don’t get adequate amounts of chromium in our diets, and some percentage of people can be affected by that.

Of course, nobody really knows how much life insurance they will need. And of course, we all wish we didn’t need any life insurance! But we all know that life is uncertain, and it wouldn’t be fair to leave our family grieving, AND BROKE, because you suddenly shuffled out of the mortal realm.
I found a neat little Life Insurance Needs Calculator. It’s not very sophisticated, but I think it’s the type of thing many people will like because it gets them to understand how one would calculate a good face value of a new policy. You consider your income, mortgage, other debt, and future plans like children’s education. You also consider your spouse’s ability to make income or maybe just make do.
